Hi friend, Here's a fun year-end project: share three of your favorite books you've read this year. You can submit your list to a book recommendation site called Shepherd, and then share the resulting page with others. (Once you're done, explore the different recommendations and authors on Shepherd—it's a gem!) Here's what the favorite books page looks like: For my own recommendations, I restricted myself to books relevant to writing. You can share anything: fiction, nonfiction, whatever brought you reading joy in 2024—no matter when the book was published. For each, you give a reason for loving the book. This makes the recommendations more powerful. Submit your favorites list here. If you do it, please send me a link to your recommendations! I'd love to read them. That's all for now. I'll be back next week with another book give-away and a gift for subscribers. Until then, happy reading and writing. Anne |
